Message from the Head
Mrs Stevens
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are looking forward to seeing you at parents evening next week – if you are still needing to make an appointment the sign up sheets are in the front office. During this meeting, teachers will be giving you the children’s spelling grids, KIRFs and half termly planners for the next half term so that you have these before the half term break.
We have enjoyed a warmer than average September and October, which has been lovely. The result of this though has been that as the children are playing outside they have been taking off their jumpers and cardigans. We make every endeavour to collect and return any items left outside (or in the hall or corridors!) to the rightful owner. To help us with this, please ensure every item of your child’s school uniform is named. It is also helpful to have the yr group written in as well. This will support us in reuniting items with the correct child. We do teach the children that it is their property and their responsibility to keep their things safe, but we do, of course, help them to find lost items wherever we can.
Also, last week, there was a typo with a date – the PTA Christmas Market will be on the 29th November – apologies for any confusion caused, and thank you to those who spotted this and let us know.
Just a reminder as well that Monday 30th October is an Inset day for staff training and the school is closed to all pupils on that day. The first day back at school after the half term is Tuesday 31st October.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend,
