Farewell to Mrs Sarah Thomas.
Sarah Thomas has decided to resign from her role as Class teacher at Mabe Primary School.
We wish Sarah all the best and hope she will stay in touch with the school.
Dear Parents/Carers,
We are now really getting into the swing of the new academic year and children are learning more and more about their current topics. To help keep you informed about what your child is learning, we have created half termly planners which the children are bringing home with them today – we hope you find these useful. They can also be found on our school website in the curriculum section, and will be updated each half term.
Over the next week, there is also the opportunity for you to pop into your child’s class to find out more about the year ahead from your child’s class teacher. We have set these at 3pm to coincide with pick up times for ease, but please do not worry if you are unable to make the session as all the information is on a powerpoint which will we share on class DoJo and our school website.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to update you with other key roles in the school so that you know who to go to in the first instance should you have an idea, question or concern:
All staff at Mabe are committed to further developing our home, school links and we operate an open door policy here so please make use of this – we are all here to support your children to be the best that they can be.
Next Friday in our whole school assembly we will be exploring the theme of Harvest. To support our Harvest Festival, we would like children to bring in an item of non-perishable food (tins, cereals, pasta, etc) which we will collect in and then donate to our local food bank.
Thank you for all your support already this term,
With my very best wishes.
Mrs Stevens
Notices
Please could we request that at pick up times, you collect your youngest sibling first. We appreciate that you can’t be in two places at 3.15 but this will help ensure the littlest children don’t get upset waiting.
Thank you!
End of day pick-ups
Next week we welcome Rock Steady to our assemblies.
Our children will be introduced to some amazing rock instruments and have the chance to sign up for music lessons and form their very own rock band!
More information will come home after the event, if you are interested in learning more you can visit:
Don’t forget...
PTA Meeting next Wed 27th 6pm in the school hall - Everyone welcome!
We will be celebrating Harvest Festival in assembly on Friday 29th September, it would be appreciated if children could bring in an item of non perishable food (cereal, tins, pasta, etc) that we can donate to the local food bank.
Thank you!

Tues 26th 3pm - Sandpipers
