Thank you for your support in ensuring your child has good attendance. Please be reminded that the government expects all children not to miss school due to family holidays. Any child who takes 6 days or more of unauthorised absence will need to be referred to the Local Authority.
Dear Parents and Carers,
Next week, our Year 6 children will be completing their SATs tests which they have all been working incredibly hard for. To support them in feeling ready to show off all their hard work and knowledge, they will be able to attend school early on these days and have breakfast provided for them. A huge thanks to our PTA for agreeing to part-fund this offer for our children. It is such a great way to alleviate any last minute worries and the children enjoy this social time together. We are very proud of how our year 6 children have applied themselves to their learning over this year, but also how they have grown as individuals who can solve problems, be the kindest of friends, be relied upon, can make us laugh, are great sports people representing our school and the list goes on. Good Luck for next week year 6 – we know that you will all do your absolute best.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to meet with your child’s class teacher next week. If you still need to sign up, the sheets are available at the front of reception.
In the newsletter last week, I also shared the link for you to complete a parent’s survey. We would be grateful if you would take the time to complete this survey following your meeting with your child’s class teacher. If there are any points about any aspect of school-life here at Mabe that you would like to discuss in greater detail with myself, please do not hesitate to contact me or catch me when I am out and about in the mornings.
With my very best wishes,
Mrs Stevens

Well done Rory!
Rory in year 6 represented our school in a golf tournament this week. He came in the top third for Mabe and placed 16th overall. What a super effort and we are all so proud of this achievement Rory – well done.
