Thank you for your support in ensuring your child has good attendance. Please be reminded that the government expects all children not to miss school due to family holidays. Any child who takes 6 days or more of unauthorised absence will need to be referred to the Local Authority.
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you all had a lovely half term break; it has been super seeing all the children back in school this week ready for learning. Every class has started their new topic of learning for this half term and the details of what will be covered in each subject has been shared with you before half term.
As we enter the last half term of this academic year, there is much to look forward to. We have our Sports day coming up in the next couple of weeks and our Summer Fayre which is taking place on Friday 5th July. Thank you for the tombola donations that have been sent in so far. Details for each tombola and the window for donations is included in this newsletter. Your support in making these donations will help to make our summer fayre successful. If you have something to donate, but have missed the window don’t worry, we would still love to receive this.
Towards the end of this term, we will be able to share with you the details for your child’s next class. We have already planned in some transition times for the children to spend time with their new class teacher and teaching assistant in their next classroom to ensure that the children transition into their next class smoothly.

Sports Day
We are planning for our Sports Day to be held on Tuesday 18th June.
EYFS and KS1 will take part in the morning with a start time of 9:15am. The PTA are providing refreshments and lollies and there will be some time after the sporting events where you can have some time together as a family enjoying the refreshments on offer.
KS2 Sports will then be held in the afternoon starting at 1:45pm. Again, after which, there will be opportunity for you to enjoy the refreshments on offer from our PTA together before the children come back into school to get ready for the end of the day.
(The back up day in the event of poor weather conditions is Wednesday 26th June).
Summer Fayre Update.
To help our summer fayre be successful, we are requesting the following items to be donated for a variety of tombola stalls. Please see dates for each donation window:
Uniform Expectations
We fully understand that children have grown out of shoes, uniform and PE kits over the course of this year, and know that this may not be the time to be replacing just before the summer break. However, when purchasing uniform for September, please make sure that this is inline with our uniform policy set out on our website. If you need any help with providing the correct school uniform for September, please come and speak with us.
